As part of our structured approach to innovation, the KLASS Innovation Department recently concluded Blueprint™, a user discovery workshop designed to better understand day-to-day workflows, uncover operational pain points, and identify practical areas where emerging technologies could offer meaningful support.
Blueprint™ is KLASS’s proprietary discovery format that anchors our innovation process in field-grounded insights and co-creation.

Rather than rushing to propose solutions, this early-phase engagement focused on building a shared understanding of context, processes, and needs. Through a combination of structured dialogue, visual mapping, and co-reflection exercises, participants contributed valuable perspectives on what truly matters in their operational environment.

Several overarching themes emerged during the workshop. Participants consistently highlighted the importance of system reliability, with a strong preference for solutions that minimise the need for manual oversight. There was also an emphasis on trust in automated outputs, especially in situations where users have limited ability to independently verify the results. In terms of usability, features that support seamless interaction without manual configuration were seen as key to improving overall user experience.

The session also underscored the value of collaborative discovery in shaping innovation that is not only technically robust but also grounded in operational relevance and built for sustainable deployment.
