Behavioral Science Intern
Mannyaa Mishra from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Economics with a minor in Psychology. She joined the Innovation team at KLASS in May 2026 as a Behavioral Science Intern, working on a research project that investigates behavioral responses and physiological biomarkers of participants under acute stress-inducing conditions. As part of this, she tested and integrated psychophysiological sensors into a cohesive data collection pipeline and contributed to refining the research paradigm and protocol. She also helped conduct pre-pilot trials for the study, which allowed her to apply theoretical standards of psychological research while building technical and data analytics skills along the way.
“Being part of the Innovation team as a Behavioral Science Intern has been a truly unique experience, exposing me to a wide range of fields and learning opportunities. From working with fascinating hardware sensors and learning new software, to engaging with the theoretical and psychological side of the experimental workflow, I’ve gained a well-rounded set of skills and learnt a great deal along the way.”
